Dos Vaqueros is located in the coastal bend of South Texas, only 40 miles from Corpus Christi and the Gulf of Mexico. Also nearby is Padre Island with 110 miles of beaches and sand dunes. 2 1/2 hours south of Houston, 2 hours southeast of San Antonio, and 1 hour north of Corpus Christi, Dos Vaqueros is easily accessible by car, commercial airline, or private plane. Refugio County Airport (Rooke Field) is on the ranch with two paved runways - the longest was recently extended to 4,500 feet.(see map)
